The opening of the Heart School in Hiddi is just around the corner! This project has been a challenging journey due to Ethiopia’s civil conflict and the rising cost of construction materials. Yet, with determination and support, we’ve managed to overcome these hurdles to bring this vision to life. Designed by Khaled Abou Taam, Ali El-Afi, Ekaterina Abou Taam, and Catherine Zalzali from Lebanon, this school will soon welcome 113 children, offering them education close to home. Special thanks to the NGO Abay Ethiopia for their tireless dedication to making this project a reality.
